ASE Certified Master Technician Chris Bruun Manages Reliable Auto Services from the auto shop's location in Lakewood, Colorado. He decided to move into the automotive repair industry after being disabled during service in the U.S. Marines.
He attended Lincoln Technical Institute (LTI) in Columbia, Maryland where he graduated with Honors. One of Chris's accomplishments that set him apart from others in his class was taking and passing all eight exams required by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) before finishing his education at LTI.
Each test from ASE requires re-certification every five years, to keep auto service masters like Chris up-to-date with the latest information on automotive technology. This means that your auto mechanic is routinely tested on his auto repair skills, which allows him to retain the status of ASE Certified.
After graduating from LTI, Chris applied and was accepted to BMW STEP (Service Technician Education Program). Application to this program requires extensive testing, interviews and recommendations from former instructors. It was in this program that Chris developed a special set of knowledge for Bavarian automobiles.
Once Chris had worked for a number of years in the automotive industry, he moved his family to Colorado and began managing Reliable Auto Services. He has taken an already loved shop and added his own touch of expertise, efficiency and integrity.
